A Brief Sailing & Sailmaking History

1972  Started racing OK dinghy in Isle of Man

1973  Started racing Finn dinghy and moved to Southampton.

1974  Joined North Sails UK as One-Design Manager

1975  Won Finn Junior national championships

1976  Made the Finn sail that wins Gold Cup

Member of British Olympic Squad for 4 years

1980 Moved back to Isle of Man to run Sailmaking business ranging from yachts to sailboards

Achieved many successes in sailboard class

1987 Returned to Southampton

1988 Joined North Sails UK as One-Design Manager again!

1990 Made the sail that won the Contender Worlds

1991  Won Contender Nationals & Started Wavelength Designs

1992 Won Contender Nationals and Europeans

1994 Won Contender Worlds & Nationals, Won Solo Nationals

1995 Won Contender Worlds & Italian Contender Nationals

1998 Won Contender Nationals & 2nd at Worlds.

1999 Won Contender Nationals

2002 Won Contender Europeans and UK Inlands

2007 Won Contender Nationals
